Psalm 96

1 Sing to YHWH a new song; sing to YHWH, all the earth!

2 Sing to YHWH, bless His name; give the news from day to day of His salvation!

3 Recount among the nations His glory, among all the peoples His wonders.

4 For great [is] YHWH, and to be praised greatly; He [is] to be feared above all gods.

5 For all the gods of the peoples [are] idols, and YHWH made the heavens.

6 Splendor and majesty [are] before His face; strength and beauty [are] in His sanctuary.

7 Give to YHWH, O families of the peoples, give to YHWH honor and strength!

8 Give to YHWH the glory [due] His name; lift up an offering and come into His courts!

9 Bow down before YHWH in the splendor of [His] holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth!

10 Say among the nations, “YHWH reigns!” Surely the world is firmly set—it cannot be shaken; He will judge the peoples with uprightness.

11 Let the heavens rejoice and let the earth be glad; let the sea and its fullness roar!

12 Let the field be joyful, and all that [is] in it! Then all the trees of the forest will shout for joy,

13 before YHWH, for He is coming—for He is coming to judge the earth! He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in His faithfulness.
