Psalm 95
O come, let us sing out to YHWH; let us shout to the Rock of our salvation!
Let us come before His face with thanksgiving, let us shout joyfully with psalms to Him!
For a great God [is] YHWH, and the great King above all gods—
in whose hand [are] the depths of the earth, and the peaks of the mountains [are] unto Him,
[and] to whom [is] the sea, for He made it, and His hands formed the dry land.
O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the face of YHWH our Maker!
For He [is] our God, and we [are] the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Today, if you⁺ hear His voice:
You⁺ shall not harden your⁺ hearts, as [at] Meribah, as [in] the day at Massah in the wilderness,
when your⁺ fathers tested Me—they tried Me, even though they had seen My work.
Forty years I was repulsed by [that] generation, and I said, “They [are] a people going astray [in] heart, and they have not known My ways.”
So I swore in My anger, “They shall not come into My rest!”
