Psalm 141
A Psalm of David. 1 O YHWH, I call to You—hurry to me; give ear to my voice in my calling out to You!
Let my prayer be established like incense before Your face, [and] the lifting of my hands like the offering of the evening.
Set, O YHWH, a guard for my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips.
Do not make my heart bend to an evil thing, to do works in wickedness, with men working iniquity; never shall I eat of their delicacies!
Let a righteous one strike me, and let him rebuke me [in] loving devotion; [it is] oil for my head—let not my head refuse [it]! For still my prayer [is] against their evil deeds.
Let their judges be released into the hands of the rock, and let them hear my words, for they are pleasant!
Like the tilling and ripping up of the land, our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.
Yet unto You, O YHWH, O Lord, [are] my eyes; in You I take refuge—do not lay bare my soul!
Keep me from the snares they have laid for me, and from the lures of the workers of iniquity!
Let the wicked fall into their nets together, until I pass over.
