Philippians 4

1 Therefore my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, in this way stand firm in the Lord, beloved.

2 I exhort Euodia and I exhort Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord.

3 Yes, and I ask you, genuine yokefellow, assist these [women] who in the gospel contended together with me, with Clement also and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names [are] in the book of life.

4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!

5 Let your⁺ gentleness be known to all men. The Lord [is] near.

6 Be anxious about nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your⁺ requests be made known to God.

7 And the peace of God, that is surpassing all understanding, will guard your⁺ hearts and your⁺ minds in Christ Jesus.

8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever [is] honorable, whatever [is] right, whatever [is] pure, whatever [is] lovely, whatever [is] well spoken of—if any excellence and if any praise—think on these things.

9 And what you⁺ learned and received and heard and saw in me, practice these things. And the God of peace will be with you⁺.

10 But I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that now at last you⁺ revived [your] being mindful for me, upon whom also you⁺ were mindful, but you⁺ were lacking opportunity.

11 Not that I speak according to deficiency, for I have learned to be content in that which I am.

12 I know also [how] to be brought low, and I know [how] to abound. In everything and in all things, I have learned the secret also to be full and to hunger, also to abound and to be deficient.

13 I have strength [for] all things in the One empowering me.

14 However, you⁺ did well having fellowship in my affliction.

15 And you⁺ also know, Philippians, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I went out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me as to the matter of giving and receiving, except you⁺ only.

16 For even in Thessalonica, both once and twice, you⁺ sent for my need.

17 Not that I seek after the gift, but I seek after the fruit abounding to your⁺ account.

18 But I have all things, and I abound. I have been filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things from you⁺, a fragrance of a sweet smell, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.

19 And my God will fill all your⁺ need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

20 Now to our God and Father [be] the glory to the ages of the ages. Amen.

21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers with me greet you⁺.

22 All the saints greet you⁺, and especially those of Caesar's household.

23 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ [be] with your⁺ spirit.
