Zechariah 5

And I turned and lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold, a flying scroll.

And he said to me, “What [are] you seeing?” And I answered, “I am seeing a flying scroll. Its length [is] twenty by the cubit, and its width [is] ten by the cubit.”

And he said to me, “This [is] the curse that is going out over the face of all the earth. For everyone stealing, on this side according to it he will be cleaned out, and everyone swearing falsely, on this side according to it he will be cleaned out.

I will send it out, a declaration of YHWH of Hosts, and it will enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of the one swearing by My name for deception, and it will lodge in the midst of his house and will put an end to it and its timbers and its stones!”

And the angel speaking with me came forth, and he said to me: “Lift now your eyes, and see what this [is] that is going forth.”

And I said, “What [is] it?” And he said, “This [is] the basket that is going forth.” And he said, “This [is] their iniquity in all the land.”

And behold, a disc of lead was being lifted, and this [is] a lone woman sitting in the midst of the basket.

And he said, “This [is] Wickedness.” And he threw her down into the midst of the basket, and he threw the weight of lead over its mouth.

And I lifted my eyes and looked, and behold, two women were coming forth, and the wind [was] in their wings! And unto them [were] wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between the earth and between the heavens.

And I said to the angel speaking with me, “Where [are] they bringing the basket?”

And he said to me, “To build for it a house in the land of Shinar; and when it is ready, it will be made to rest there on its base.”
