Psalm 66
For the one directing. A Song. A Psalm. 1 Shout to God, all the earth!
Sing forth the glory of His name; make glorious His praise!
Say to God, “How awesome [are] Your works! In the abundance of Your might, Your enemies feign obedience to You.
All the earth will bow down to You and will sing to You—they will sing praises [to] Your name.” Selah
Come and see the works of God, being fearsome [in] His dealing with the sons of man.
He turned the sea to dry land; through the river they passed over on foot. There we rejoiced in Him,
ruling in His might forever; His eyes keep watch on the nations; let those rebelling not lift themselves high. Selah
bless our God, O peoples, and make heard the voice of His praise—
the One putting our soul among the living and not having given our feet to slip.
For You have tested us, O God; You have refined us like the refining of silver.
You have brought us into a net; You have placed pressure on our backs.
You have caused man to ride over our heads; we came into the fire and into the water, and You brought us forth to a watered place.
I will come into your house with burnt offerings; I will fulfill to You my vows,
for which my lips have opened, and my mouth has spoken in the distress for me.
Burnt offerings of fatlings I will offer to You, with the fragrant smoke of rams; I will offer of bulls with goats. Selah
Come, listen, all who fear God, and I will recount what He has done for my soul.
With my mouth I called out to Him, and He was praised under my tongue.
If I had seen iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.
Surely God has heard; He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
Blessed [be] God, who has not turned aside my prayer, or His loving devotion from me.
