Psalm 23

1 A Psalm of David. <span class=|reftext|><a href=|#|><b>1</b></a> YHWH [is] my shepherd; I shall not lack.

2 In pastures green He makes me to lie down; beside waters of resting He guides me.

3 He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness, for the sake of His name.

4 Even though I may walk in the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You [are] with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5 You arrange a table before me in front of my enemies; You anoint my head with the oil; my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and mercy will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of YHWH for the length of days.
