Psalm 149

1 Hallelu YAH! Sing to YHWH a new song—His praise in the assembly of the holy ones!

2 Let Israel rejoice in his Maker; let the sons of Zion rejoice in their King!

3 Let them praise His name with dancing; with tambourine and harp let them make music to Him!

4 For YHWH delights in His people; He adorns the humble with salvation.

5 Let the holy ones exult in [His] glory; let them sing for joy upon their beds.

6 Let the high praises of God [be] in their throat, and a two-edged sword in their hand,

7 to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments against the peoples,

8 to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with shackles of iron,

9 to execute against them the judgment written—it [is] an honor for all His holy ones. Praise YAH!
