Psalm 138

1 Of David. <span class=|reftext|><a href=|#|><b>1</b></a> I give You praise with all of my heart; before the gods I sing Your praises.

2 I bow down toward the temple of Your holiness, and I give thanks to Your name for Your loving devotion, and for Your faithfulness; for You have magnified above all Your name [and] Your word.

3 On the day I called out, then You answered me; You embolden me in my soul [with] strength.

4 O YHWH, all the kings of the earth will give You thanks when they hear the words of Your mouth.

5 And they will sing of the ways of YHWH: For great [is] the glory of YHWH!

6 For YHWH [is] on high, and the lowly one He sees, and the haughty He knows from afar.

7 When I walk in the midst of distress, You revive me against the anger of my enemies; You stretch out Your hand, and Your right hand saves me.

8 May YHWH complete [this] on my behalf! O YHWH, Your loving devotion [is] forever; do not forsake the works of Your hands!
