Psalm 13

1 For the one directing. A Psalm of David. <span class=|reftext|><a href=|#|><b>1</b></a> Until when, O YHWH? Will You forget me forever? Until when will You hide Your face from me?

2 Until when shall I set counsel in my soul, [and] sorrow in my heart daily? Until when will my enemy be raised high over me?

3 Look attentively; answer me, O YHWH my God! Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death,

4 lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed against him.” My adversaries rejoice because I am shaken.

5 Yet I have trusted in Your loving devotion; My heart will rejoice in Your salvation.

6 I will sing to YHWH, because He has dealt bountifully with me.
