Psalm 125

1 A Song of the Ascents. <span class=|reftext|><a href=|#|><b>1</b></a> Those trusting in YHWH are like Mount Zion—it cannot be shaken; it abides forever.

2 Jerusalem, the mountains surround her, and YHWH surrounds His people, from now even to forever.

3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous, so that the righteous do not stretch out their hands to injustice.

4 Do good, O YHWH, to the good, and to the upright in their hearts!

5 And those turning to their crooked ways, YHWH will lead them away with the workers of iniquity! Peace [be] upon Israel!
