Job 26

And Job answered and said:

“How you have helped the one without power! You have saved the arm [with] no strength!

How you have advised one without wisdom, and have made known insight in abundance!

With whom have you declared [these] words? And whose breath has come forth from you?

The dead are writhing, underneath the waters and those inhabiting them.

Naked [is] Sheol before Him, and there is no covering to Abaddon.

He stretches out Zaphon over the void, hanging the earth on nothing whatsoever.

Binding the waters in His thick clouds, and the clouds are not broken apart under them,

He covers the face of the throne, [and] spreads over it His cloud.

He has circled a limit upon the face of the waters, to [be] the boundary of light with darkness.

The pillars of the heavens tremble and are astonished at his rebuke.

By His strength He stirred the Sea, and by His understanding He shattered Rahab.

By His breath the heavens were made clear; His hand pierced the fleeing serpent.

Behold, these are the edges of His ways, and how faint of a word do we hear of Him! And the thundering of His might, who can understand?”
