Esther 10

1 And King Ahasuerus set tribute upon the land and the islands of the sea.

2 And all the work of his power and his strength, and the account of the greatness of Mordecai [by] which the king made him great, are they not written in the Book of the Words of the Days of the Kings of Media and Persia?

3 For Mordecai the Jew [was] second to King Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews and was favored by the multitude of his brothers, seeking good for his people and speaking peace to all his seed.
